Agadir airport to Taghazout and Tamraght: taxi, bus or transfer

Idder

White and ochre houses climb a hillside above a small beach at sunset, with blue wooden fishing boats pulled up in the foreground.

Agadir Al Massira (AGA) is the closest airport to Taghazout and Tamraght, with flights from many European cities on Ryanair, easyJet and Royal Air Maroc. Ider is in Tamraght, about 50 minutes from the airport by road. You have three ways to make the trip.

Our transfer, €20 each way

A driver meets your flight and takes you to Tamraght for €20 each way. Send your flight number with your dates and we book it.

Grand taxi

Grand taxis wait outside arrivals and take cash in dirhams. Agree the fare before you load your bags, and include your surfboard in that price. If you want to know the going rate before you fly, ask us.

Bus

No bus runs straight from the airport to the coast. You take the airport bus into Agadir, then a city bus north along the coast road to Tamraght or Taghazout. It's the cheapest way and the slowest. Allow about two hours with the change.

City buses stop running in the early evening, and a board bag is hard to fit on a full bus. With a late flight or a board, take the transfer or a taxi.

Before you land

Since 20 September 2026, Morocco runs on GMT all year. In winter that's London time, one hour behind Paris and Berlin. In summer it's one hour behind London and two behind Paris and Berlin.

Bring some dirhams for the taxi and the village. Cafés, shops and taxis mostly take cash.
